Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone) and her boyfriend have a car accident while speeding and their car plunges in a river. Catherine escapes the scene unscathed, but her boyfriend is killed. The police starts an investigation to find whether she murdered him on purpose. They bring in a crime psychologist Michael Glass (David Morrissey) to examine Catherine's mental condition. Catherine forces Glass to take her as a patient though he is reluctant to do this. Tramell starts playing mental games with Glass who is frustrated by Catherine but still can't seem to go away from her. Suddenly there are multiple murders of people around Catherine and Glass, including his ex-wife. Ultimately, Glass figures out the next person to die by reading Catherine's incomplete novel. |
