“Bruce Almighty” is about a television news reporter named Bruce Nolan (Jim Carrey) who doesn’t get the job as anchorman that he wants. After having more bad luck, he tells God (Morgan Freeman) that he is getting treated unfairly, so God endows him with almighty powers to see how he likes it. However, Bruce soon realizes that having supreme power is not all fun and games. He almost loses his girlfriend Grace Connelly (Jennifer Aniston) after behaving very selfishly. God causes Bruce to come to heaven, where the two of them meet and discuss Bruce’s dilemma. God allows Bruce to come back to earth after he changes his attitude about life. |
