Nicole Walker (Reese Witherspoon) a 16-year-old girl falls in love with a boy David (Mark Wahlberg) who she meets for the first time at a rave party. At first, he seems to be a nice, polite and considerate person. She falls so deeply for him that she gives up her virginity to him. Others in her family though do not like him. Her father in fact stood in the way of the two of them. David strikes himself and claims that he was hit by her dad to drive a wedge between them. In his obsession for her, he wants her all to himself. She eventually sees through his disguise and sees a manipulative and vicious person. Her entire family gets together to fend off the attacks by David once she rejects him. |
