World Trade Center is the true story of two of the only survivors pulled from the rubble after the collapse of the Twin Towers, two Port Authority Police Officers there to help evacuate the fatally wounded buildings. Sergeant John McLoughlin is a husband and a father of two, William J. Jimeno is a newlywed expecting his first baby. As the two men struggle to keep each other alert and alive, their families struggle to keep hope that they’ll be found and brought home safely. It’s also a story of the nearly covert operation of a few renegade rescuers determined to find survivors. This story shows the best in people and how a nation pulled together following the events of September 11, 2001. |
