During a routine drug bust, Johan Falk (Jakob Eklund) and his colleagues at GIS realize that they they’re not dealing with your average Gothenburg criminals, but instead have stumbled upon a lead that may give them a chance at arresting “Mr. K,” one of Europe’s most wanted criminal masterminds, and also one of the most brutal members of the Estonian-Russian mob. In an attempt to get Mr. K’s attention and hopefully lure him out of hiding, the undercover operative Frank Wagner (Joel Kinnaman) puts the word out that he’s interested in purchasing a large quantity of pure amphetamine, and soon he and Johan find themselves involved in a much more dangerous situation than ever before. |
